Privacy Policy

How Aardhdeals collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data, and how you can exercise your rights under Indian law.

Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Aaradhyaveda Enterprises (OPC) Private Limited ("Aardhdeals", "we", "us") handles your personal data when you visit aardhdeals.in or buy from us. Our address is Shop No. 209, Block B, Rashmi Growth Hub-2, Nr. Vishala 111, Opp. Grand Thakar Hotel, S.P. Ring Road, Odhav, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382415, India.

We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them. Under the DPDP Act, we are the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.

Personal data we collect

You can browse the site without giving us any personal data. When you order or contact us, we collect only what we need:

  • Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address.
  • Delivery and billing details: your shipping address, billing address and pin code.
  • Order details: the products you buy, order value, payment method, payment status and transaction reference.
  • Order history and messages: past orders, returns and refunds, and anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • GST details: your GSTIN and business name, only if you choose to add them for a GST invoice.
  • Refund details: the UPI ID or bank account details you share with us for a cash on delivery refund.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the cookie and local storage data the site needs to work.

How we use your data

We use your personal data only for clear, specific purposes, and we never sell it. We use it to:

  • process, pack and deliver your order, and send order, dispatch and delivery updates
  • take payments, process refunds and prevent fraud
  • issue GST tax invoices and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires
  • handle returns, exchanges, complaints and support requests
  • keep the site secure and working properly
  • meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities
  • send offers and updates, only if you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time

Consent and lawful use

When you place an order or contact us, you give us your personal data for that purpose. We process it with your consent and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as fulfilling your order and meeting legal requirements.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to connect@aardhdeals.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we will still keep data the law requires us to retain, such as tax invoices.

If you withdraw consent for data we need to fulfil an order, we may not be able to complete that order.

Payment information

Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partners, Razorpay or PhonePe, which are PCI-DSS compliant. You enter your card, UPI or netbanking details on the gateway's secure page, not on our site.

We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password. We receive only the payment status, a transaction reference and limited details such as the payment method used.

The gateway handles your payment data under its own privacy policy and the rules of the Reserve Bank of India.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where needed to fulfil your order and run our business, and only with:

  • Courier partners: your name, phone number and address, so they can deliver your order or collect a return.
  • Payment gateways (Razorpay or PhonePe): the details needed to process payments and refunds.
  • Email and messaging providers: your email address and order details, so we can send invoices and order updates.
  • Hosting, IT and accounting service providers that help us run the site and keep our books, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Government authorities, courts or law enforcement, when the law requires it or to prevent fraud.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires.

GST invoices and order records are kept for the period required by GST law, currently 72 months from the due date of the annual GST return for that year.

Other data, such as support messages and refund bank or UPI details, is deleted or anonymised once we no longer need it, unless we need it to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud.

How we protect your data

We use reasonable security practices in line with the IT Act, 2000 and its rules, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access controls and reputable service providers. Only people who need your data to do their work can access it.

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, the transfer is made only as permitted under Indian law.

No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform affected customers and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and your browser's local storage to keep your cart, remember it between visits and complete checkout. The site cannot work properly without them.

We don't use them to track you across other websites. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires.

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time, but this will empty your cart.

Your rights

To use any of these rights, email connect@aardhdeals.com from the email address or phone number linked to your order. We may need to verify your identity first.

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we have shared it with.
  • Correction: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated.
  • Erasure: have your data deleted when it is no longer needed, except where the law requires us to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent you have given, as easily as you gave it.
  • Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with our grievance officer and get a response.
  • Nominate: nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or are unable to act.

Children

Our site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must place the order and provide the details.

We don't knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Grievance officer and contact

If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your personal data, contact our grievance officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
