Figure-8 straps loop around your wrist and the bar so you physically can't drop it. That makes them ideal for max-weight shrugs, rack pulls and heavy deadlifts where grip is the limit. Heavy-duty cotton webbing, padded wrist sections and bar-tack stitching handle serious loads. Not for Olympic lifts, where you need to bail.
